Theta symbol

Theta symbol:

Suppose the sine of theta value is (4/9) and theta of the first quadrant. Find the sin 2(theta).
Sol : They get the diagram, the worth is,
cos (theta) = (SQRT(50)/9).
Here they using the double identify, regarding for sine,
sin 2(theta) = 2(sin (theta))(cos (theta))
Put the values what they have,
sin 2(theta) = 2 * (4/9) * (SQRT (50)/9)
sin 2(theta) = 0.88 * (SQRT (50)/7)
sin 2(theta) = 0.88 * 2.35
And they get the final multiplication value is,
sin 2(theta) = 2.07
